Floating flowers is a concept I have created which is a hanging installation within glass. This installation is hanging on a single thread only and will keep your dried flowers dust free and secure within glass.

Werk behorend bij familieopdracht gemaakt op een zwarte achtergrond en in een prachtige gouden lijst met verfijnde bies uit de Dordogne. Voor dit werk is een compleet andere uitstraling gekozen dan Coat of Many Colors. In overleg met elkaar kom ik altijd tot een werk dat past bij de persoon voor wie ik het maak.

The bois stuc vintage frame is from my source in France. For this piece I have cut most of stems and rebuild each snapdragon with the most colorful petals. This results in a light, airy and colorful piece.

For this piece I have used as much as flowers possible from the flower hearth I received. The boxed frame is in mint condition. All flowers used in this boxed frame are dried in my own studio.

Ik werk vaker met haar samen om bloemen van een uitvaart met liefde te vereeuwigen. Voor mij is het belangrijk om ongeacht de grootte van het werk iets te maken dat helemaal is naar wens van de klant.

Apothekersfles vintage van 6 liter gevuld met verschillende bloemen meegenomen naar de uitvaart. Voor dit werk kreeg ik zoveel bloemen dat een groot gedeelte van mijn droogkamer ruimte moest maken om ze goed te drogen. Ik heb voor dit werk de ene kant licht gehouden en de andere kant wat donkerder. Van elke bloem heb ik er 1 verwerkt in het glas, de overige bloemen gedroogd heb ik teruggegeven aan de opdrachtgever.

The arrangement where the pressed flower is the center of the attention and all other dried flowers are growing towards it. All my works are a reflection of my contact with the client, but always the dried flowers are in charge!
