How do I work on commission?

If you decide to work with me, I will need your flowers within one week at the latest. Since I live quite centrally, I often drop by to pick up the flowers. You are also welcome at my studio in Laren. If the above points are not possible, I can also send you an insured label so you can send your flowers.

What do you do with my flowers?

Once I have received your flowers, I have different techniques for different results. Depending on the flower, but also on your choice of product, I choose a technique. I have a drying room where your flowers safely undergo the drying process.

Does the color always remain the same?

I do not use fixing spray or paint to manipulate the color. I think it is important that it is as natural as possible and that the flowers get a bonus round from Mother Nature! Over time, the color will always fade.

What kind of products are possible with my flowers?

If desired, I make frames with a small recess so that your flowers get a little more depth, or I process your flowers in glass. For me, it is important to process the dried flowers dust-free in any case! That is why I work with dried flowers in or behind glass. If you have a completely different idea yourself, feel free to email me, I love to get your input! I do not work with epoxy or casting resin; I have written a small blog about why I don't do that.

How will you create my work?

I do not recreate the original bouquet. I give my own interpretation of the flowers I received from you. It is also a piece of the creative process that we enter into together.

How will I be kept informed of the creative process?

I will send photos periodically before finishing a piece.

When and how will I receive my work?

Commissioned work is delivered or picked up by arrangement after the invoice has been paid.

How should I treat my work at home?

Do not place work in direct sunlight or in a damp room.
